What	How it's made
Buildings	Boxes with a band of windows per floor (lit at night), a parapet, a rooftop AC unit, and a door with an awning facing the nearest street. They fade when they'd hide you.
Characters	Blocky bodies in three builds and several skin tones, with jackets, pants, caps and shades in a 1999 palette. Arms and legs swing as they walk; they bob a little when idle.
Y2K Bugs	Glossy black beetles with a glowing green circuit stripe, red eyes and six legs: the first rivals that aren't people.
Animals	Dogs (ears, a wagging tail, a pale belly), raccoons (a bandit mask, round ears, a ringed tail) and deer (a long neck, antlers, a white tail), on four legs that trot with the walk cycle.
Fireworks	Glowing rockets that burst into a sphere of sparks (spread on a golden-angle spiral), fading as they fall.
Cars	Five shapes: the hatchback, the low turbo coupe, a pickup with a bed, a tall minivan and an open-top roadster. A body, a cabin with windows, and wheels with hubcaps that spin; the body leans into turns. Eight paint jobs, and parts that show: a hood scoop (turbo), chrome hubs (sport tires), a spoiler and side skirts (body kit).
